STUDIO PROJECT : GROOVE YARD
The project aims to design a communal space for dancers to learn and immerse themselves in the culture of street dance. Street dance is a term used for dance genres formed in non-formal settings such as in neighbourhood open areas, parks, streets, or social gatherings. In Singapore, Street dance continues to grow its community thanks to technology and media introducing and bringing the culture to the youth. Because of this, many are interested in learning the foundations and culture of street dance.
